Timbuk2

Project Summary

Timbuk2 came out with the customizable Icon Messenger bag and I was tasked with creating a series of videos to help promote them. The client had opened a new store in Portland so I suggested we shoot the series near the store to bring Portland into the story. We wandered the city by foot and bike, telling the story of a young professional looking for creative inspiration.

My Roles

I worked with the client to determine a theme and narrative that would help showcase the product in real-world settings; scouted shoot locations; created shot lists; and managed sets and camera work. We ended up with a series of 15, 30, and 60-second videos that were used in their digital lookbook, on social media platforms, and YouTube prerolls to build awareness.
